6. Alternate Promotion: We will look at some effective alternative forms of promotion.

7. Putting it all together: We make sure every part of our plan is in place before we put it into action.

One of the concepts we will introduce is the counting of pennies. We want each day to produce income of some sort so that with time and energy expended there is income. We want time and energy to literally translate to money, 'time is money' as the saying goes. And our motto is better to spend 20 minutes making some money than spend 4 hours making no money. We will talk more about this matter later in simple step 5.

There are different ideas as to what is the best method to promote. Many feel a lead page is best. Gaining prospects, building a list, so that they can email their various business opportunities to them. These individuals promote a lead page and when people sign up or request more information several things take place.

First, the person becomes a "lead" to which a series of emails are subsequently sent which encourage them to sign up for such and such program. Or they may become a trial member, free member, or even receive a "lead page" of their own, creating a network of lead pages or opt-in subscribers to receive and send out email ads.

Regardless of whether you get leads on your own or you join opt-in safelists you want to send ads that compel your prospects to join your program. I might promote Simple Seven Steps using the ad copy and the subject heading, "A Quick and Simple Way to Recruit More People into Your Downline." Whatever headline we use make sure it answers the question, "What's in it for me?" A lousy headline that lacks substance is something like, "Wow, This is Really Great!" which tells us absolutely nothing about the program. Remember to use the AIDA formula when designing your ad copy:

• Attention: Use a word or phrase in our headline that grabs their attention~ New, Simple, Easy, Quick, Risk Free, Free, Proven, Our, We, etc.

• Interest: "What's in it for me?" "Why should I join?" Describe the benefits of joining. Show them a little meat, don't tell them about the sizzle! A good product or service doesn't need hype. However, we just want to reveal  enough details to lead them to our signup page. Hence the need for...

• Desire: Incentives for joining~ PreLaunch priviledges, low early entry fee, free software, free ebooks, "Join today and get 5 widgets free!" Free information, Free Test Drive, etc...

• Action: GO2: website address, email, phone, address; click here, join today. Give clear instructions on how to signup for the opportunity, include several pay options.

Another, more direct, way to promote is by promoting your affiliate program on traffic exchanges. Whichever way you promote, remember its a numbers game~ whoever gets their ad out in front of the most prospects wins. Most people need at least seven exposures to a product or service before they buy or sign-up into it. That day you take off from advertising is a break in those exposures and you lose momentum to competing marketers. The more you advertise, the greater will be your success.

Simple Seven Steps recommends promoting using primarily traffic exchange programs. Most traffic exchanges are free to join, simple to set up and maintain, and guarantee like minded marketers will be viewing your business opportunity.

Traffic Exchange Programs, TEPS, are a mainstay of internet advertising. They can guarantee targeted advertising of a real person viewing your website. These persons surfing TEPS are internet marketers just like us, with the difference, hopefully, of being swishy washy enough to jump from there program into ours. From there we hope to stabilize them into making real money and being long-term promoters in our down line.

Each day there seem to be newer more innovative traffic exchanges premiering on the net. They are effective advertising that does work but how do you surf all of those traffic exchanges effectively? The answer is, you can't. Well, you can, but as we mentioned before this would produce only diluted returns on our time and energy.

Our goal is not to win awards at surfing the most TEPS. We want to find the TEPS that give us the best results and surf these TEPS consistently enough to produce quantifiable income. Now the first TEP mentioned, 4daily, is an auto surf that can generate money for you on a daily basis. 4daily allows you to surf for money. Here we are counting pennies, making our time and energy pay off in one way or another.

After you join your seven TEPS write down your id name or number, your password, your referral page url, and your starter/ surfing page url in a separate notepad and or in a word processor folder in your computer. If the value of a penny were equal to one minute, 60 minutes equally 60 cents might seem like an insignificant amount of money. However, minutes accumulate rapidly and so does wasted time. If you had a penny for every hour of unproductive time how much would that be worth? Let's see, if we waste 2 hours a day, (and most people do) in a weeks time that would equal 840 minutes or $8.40. In a month's time that would equal 3360 minutes or $33.60. In a years time that would become 40320 minutes or $403.20.

Could you use an extra $33.60 per month of pocket change? Can you afford to lose $400 per year? The objective of this step is to convert that wasted time into productive income, income that has the potential of eliminating your J-O-B. That's an additional eight hours per day to spend as you like! But to reach that goal you must be willing to start out spending 20 minutes per day working towards financial independence. Gradually, as we indicated, you can work toward spending 2 hours per day compared to 8 hours per day at your J-O-B!

Compare ten dollars of  strategically placed quarters in library counters, restaurant tables, mall benches, and bike paths to a ten dollar ad in a newspaper.

These individuals promote a lead page and when people sign up or request more information several things take place. "Why should I join?" Describe the benefits of joining. Show them a little meat, don't tell them about the sizzle! A good product or service doesn't need hype. Desire: Incentives for joining~ PreLaunch priviledges, low early entry fee, free software, free ebooks, "Join today and get 5 widgets free!" Free information, Free Test Drive, etc... Action: GO2: website address, email, phone, address; click here, join today. Give clear instructions on how to signup for the opportunity, include several pay options. Another, more direct, way to promote is by promoting your affiliate program on traffic exchanges. Whichever way you promote, remember its a numbers game~ whoever gets their ad out in front of the most prospects wins. Most people need at least seven exposures to a product or service before they buy or sign-up into it. That day you take off from advertising is a break in those exposures and you lose momentum to competing marketers. The more you advertise, the greater will be your success. Step Five: Counting Pennies If the value of a penny were equal to one minute, 60 minutes equally 60 cents might seem like an insignificant amount of money. However, minutes accumulate rapidly and so does wasted time. If you had a penny for every hour of unproductive time how much would that be worth? Let's see, if we waste 2 hours a day, (and most people do) in a weeks time that would equal 840 minutes or $8.40. In a month's time that would equal 3360 minutes or $33.60.
