From Papo To Princess

Unquenchable Love

21 July 1991

To Princess,

To my Princess, of whom I often think, how precious your companionship is to me.

Although, at times, I feel I spoil myself of your company;

So many times have you guided me in the way of the truth--

Saving your sweet affection for more appropriate times.

And though I make many faces, and appear upset and frustrated...

I know it may be hard for you to realize, underneath the surface of my emotions there lies a deep appreciation for your loving foresight.

At present, courtship is a painful joy, having someone you love so dearly, yet to whom you cannot express full physical affection.

I value your intellect and the emotional relationship we have cultivated--

but most importantly, I value your spirituality,

which preserves alive our relationship in the truth.

Funny as it may seem, neither now, nor after marriage,

can your hugs and kisses quench my love for you.

Even if a thousand times you say, “I love you,”

my heart will always long to have you near.

May our love always prove to be a deep well filled with affection,

but more importantly, friendship and healthy love for the truth.

Such a well is bottomless, and is always filled with spiritual life.

Love you so much,

Your friend, Papo
