To Princess,　

A poem is but many words composed to have affect

Each writer has an audience of which he chooses to select

The fact that it is a poem does this mean that it is true?

The audience he chose does hope this poem he wished to do

Each poem, we hope it is sincere, the writer’s intentions true

And this is what I hope you feel when I write these words, “I love you.”

The same, I hope you feel it is real, when I say, “You make me happy.”

I write a lot, but when I speak, the words are somewhat lacking

I wish to say a little more, to speak a poem heartfelt

However, hard as I have tried, my spoken words have not helped

As time goes on, you will know me more and understand me better

One day, I hope my spoken words will match this heartfelt letter

Always hoping you will continue to be my one and only Precious Jewel,
