A Letter from Papo

Dear Reader,
With the writing of Unforced Love, gloomy forces from without begin to tear at the bonds of love. Papo is unemployed and his apparent inability to sustain employment concerns Princess
-- will he be capable of providing for a family?According to Papo and Princess’ religion, courtship is with a view towards marriage. A wedding once imminent, now seems out of grasp. The precious jewel Papo had found is indeed real, yet appears to be descending in an ever deepening well.
Realizing their predicament, the evil forces from within, anxiety and uncertainty, begin to take hold Papo and Princess. Cultural differences magnified by stress become the source of confrontation, speeding up the deterioration of romance.
Their courtship ends during a phone conversation, Princess feels their relationship is no longer progressing towards marriage. Papo acknowledges Princess’s feelings and both mutually agree to let each other go.
For the next six months Papo grieves over his loss of Princess, he sees her often in worship, but feels as though she died.
In his heart, Papo longs to be reunited with Princess again. Unknown to Papo, Princess also hopes Papo will succeed in proving his potential as a providing husband.
In Confidence,
Papo
